چکیده

This study aims to examine the effect of PGPR in increasing growth and yield red chilies, find type that gives best chilies. The research was conducted at Teaching Research Farm, Faculty Agriculture, Jambi University, 35 above sea level. used a randomized block design with one factor, namely various types PGPR: without PGPR; PGPR1 (containing Trichoderma sp., Bacillus Pseudomonas 11 essential macro microelements, as well natural amino acids); 2 fluorescent, Aspergillus niger, Azobacter Azospirilium And Rhizobium sp.); 3 4 Azosbacteria sp, harzianum). Each treatment repeated five times. results showed application able increase plant chilies form height (2.12% - 9.69%), total number branches (5.25% -54.96%), fruits (13,55% -51.40%) fruit weight (54.19% -116.35%). quality crop yields has also improved PGPR. which contains sp. is provides

Plant growth promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR): a review

Soil microbial communities are often difficult to characterize, mainly because of their immense phenotypic and genotypic diversity. In the last ten years, a number of PGPR that have been identified has seen a great boost, mainly because the role of the rhizosphere as an ecological unit has gained importance in the functioning of the biosphere and also because mechanisms of action of PGPR have b...

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR): emergence in agriculture.

Plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) are the rhizosphere bacteria that can enhance plant growth by a wide variety of mechanisms like phosphate solubilization, siderophore production, biological nitrogen fixation, rhizosphere engineering, production of 1-Aminocyclopropane-1-carboxylate deaminase (ACC), quorum sensing (QS) signal interference and inhibition of biofilm formation, phytohormo...

The Effect of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on Germination, Seedling Growth and Yield of Maize

The effect of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on seed germination, seedling growth and yield of field grown maize were evaluated in three experiments. In these experiments six bacterial strains include P.putida strain R-168, P.fluorescens strain R-93, P.fluorescens DSM 50090, P.putida DSM291, A.lipoferum DSM 1691, A.brasilense DSM 1690 were used. Results of first study showed seed I...

Biological control of Heterodera glycines by spore-forming plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) on soybean

Heterodera glycines, the soybean cyst nematode, is the most economically important plant-parasitic nematode on soybean production in the U.S. The objectives of this study were to evaluate the potential of plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) strains for mortality of H. glycines J2 in vitro and for reducing nematode population density on soybean in greenhouse, microplot, and field trials....

1 Ecology , Genetic Diversity and Screening Strategies of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria ( PGPR )

TheGerman agronomist Hiltner first defined the rhizosphere, in 1904, as the ‘effect’ of the roots of legumes on the surrounding soil, in terms of higher microbial activity because of the organic matter released by the roots. Until the end of the twentieth century, this ‘effect’ was not considered to be an ecosystem. It is interesting to make some brief observations about the size, in terms of e...
